Dress the Part!!!!

Going on an audition...??? Dress the part!!! Wether you are auditioning for a nurse, a maid or a corporate attorney, it's important to dress for the role you want!!!

Not only does this help you become the character, it helps the director see you as the character!!!!

I remember auditioning for a part in a movie, staring Ray Liotta, I was auditioning for a maid!!!! I was super excited!!!! I put on a maid like dress, threw my hair in a sloppy ponytail, and washed off my make up!!! Yes, that's right... no makeup ladies!!!! I admit before I walked into the room I was nervous, especially when I saw all these other women all made up!!!

As I sat there filling out my info, the casting director came out, odering every talent with make up to go to the bathroom and wash it off!!!!! Everyone except me ! I was thrilled! Unfortantely, I didn't get the job, but I stood out and made an impression!!!!

Lesson learned when it come to auditioning...DRESS THE PART AND STAND OUT!!!!
